Using an error code in your search

Enter the characters exactly as they appear on the display, noting spaces, punctuation and differences between a zero and the letter O. Error-code meanings are not universal: even models from the same manufacturer may use different displays or procedures. General guidance should never be mistaken for proof that a code applies to your machine.

Begin broad if you have only the brand, then add the appliance type and full model when available. If a search using an error code returns no verified model record, that does not prove the code is impossible on your appliance. It means the current directory does not establish that connection; consult the exact-model manual for confirmation.
